Durante
l’estate i turchi residenti in Europa, principalmente in Germania, tornano a
casa per le vacanze, e ciò spesso accadeva in nave. L’ultima a compiere il
collegamento dall’Italia alla Turchia, tra Ancona e Cesme,
è stata la CESME, qua fotografata ad Ancona il 23 giugno 2007;
successivamente, sia a causa dell’apertura dell’autostrada Igoumenitsa – Turchia, sia della disponibilità maggiore
di voli low cost, il collegamento
è stato chiuso nel 2010. MAMMA LI TURCHI!!! THE
TURKS!!! During Summer the Turks living in Europe, mainly in Germany, go back
to their country to spend holidays, and they travelled often by ship. The
last one sailing from Italy to Turkey, between the ports of Ancona and Cesme, was the
CESME, here arriving in Ancona on June 23rd,
2007. Later, due to the completion of Egnatia
Highway and to the increasing availability of low cost flights, the link was
closed in 2010. |
