The latest
acquisition of Dodecanese-based Dane Sea Line, her name is that of Lindos town, a beautiful centre on south-east coast of
Rhodes island, and this name was already used for a Ro/Ro purchased in 1985.
She arrived in Greece in October 2000 after 10 years of service in Japan as
“New Tosa”, after the refit at Perama
yards the ship entered service on September 2001, but as “Diagoras”,
a name which seems to have been chosen by ANEK board.
