First ferry of Attica Enterprises, was delivered to Superfast Ferries which put her on Patras - Ancona line on 15/04/95. Fastest ship on this route, capable to cover the distance of 505 maritime miles in only 20 hours, she leaved three times a week from both the ports at 16.00, 19.00 and 22.00. However the “Superfast I” was punctual few times. Remained on Ancona line also for the two following years, in 1998 was on the new Bari - Igoumenitsa - Patras link, together with her sister, departing daily from all the ports. This ship, although being the opposite thing to a cruise ferry, due to her worst projected public spaces, had the chance to revolutionize the ferry market all over the Europe. She lost her sister in autumn 2003, when she was sold to Australia and the present ferry remained on the Bari line serving in pair with Blue Star Ferries’s “Blue Horizon”, until her sale  of Spring 2004 to Grimaldi Ferries, which renamed the ferry “Eurostar Roma” for the new link BarcelonaCivitavecchia supported by the European Union. The line was successful and also the once-time competitor “Prometheus” was bought by Grimaldi Ferries to link daily Barcelona with Civitavecchia; however the “Eurostar Roma” suffers very much the Gulf of the Lion and once was also damaged by an high wave. At the beginning of May 2005 the ferry was refitted at Barcelona yards also to repaint her bow, where the Superfast red and the old name “Superfast I” was again clearly visible on the steel.
