As the sister “Fenicia” I have not many notices about her. She is on Ancona - Durres route. As a very strange thing this ship, owned by a company called “Adriatica” for 2001 season will operate a Thirrenian connection between Leghorn and Catania. It is very sad to notice how the Tirrenia Group buy new ships for Tirrenia company as the new “Bithia” and “Janas”, sister ships of “Knossos Palace” (plus a lot of other newbuildings like “Raffaele Rubattino”, “Vincenzo Florio” and the fast monohulls “Aries”, “Taurus” and so on) and leaves Adriatica to her destiny… it is possible that the Tirrenia Group board don’t understand the success that ships like “Bithia” and “Janas” would have between Ancona and Patras? Was sold to Egypt together with the sister on November 2004.
