Aegean Speed Lines was the first company which,
according to the liberalization of cabotage in Greece of 2002, introduced the
first non-Greek ferry to operate on Greek domestic routes, the “Speedrunner
1”, in 2005 under British flag. The “Speedrunner II” was the first
Cypriot-registered ferry to operate on Greek domestic routes. ·
All the four vessels of this company
operated under two different liveries during their Aegean Speed Lines period:
the “Speedrunner 1” had white hull with light blue and green marks in 2005
and sky blue/dark blue hull from 2006 to 2008; the “Speedrunner II” had sky
blue/dark blue livery from 2007 to 2008 and white hull with sky blue/dark
blue marks since 2009; finally the “Speedrunner III” and “Speedrunner IV” had
the Superseacat livery in 2008 retaining their former names and the white
hull with sky blue and dark blue markings since 2009. |

Aegean Speed Lines è stata la prima compagnia ad introdurre
una nave non battente bandiera greca in servizi domestici greci dopo la liberalizzazione
del 2002, la “Speedrunner 1”, lanciata nel 2005 con bandiera Britannica. La
“Speedrunner II” è invece la prima nave battente bandiera cipriota su rotte
domestiche greche. ·
Tutte le quattro navi della Aegean Speed Lines hanno avuto
almeno due diverse livree operando per questa compagnia: la “Speedrunner 1”
con scafo bianco e scritte verdi e azzurre nel 2005 e carta zucchero/blu dal
2006 al 2008; la “Speedrunner II” carta zucchero/blu dal 2007 al 2008 e
bianca con scritte blu/carta zucchero dal 2009; infine “Speedrunner III” e
“Speedrunner IV” la livrea Superseacat nel 2008 operando coi precedenti nomi
e la livrea bianca con scritte blu/carta zucchero dal 2009. |
